Price dependant on size, location and quantity of lesions.
CryoPen® is an advanced cryotherapy treatment used to safely and effectively remove a variety of benign skin lesions. The treatment works by applying a precise jet of extremely cold nitrous oxide directly to the lesion, freezing the unwanted tissue while minimising impact on the surrounding skin.
CryoPen® is a quick, minimally invasive treatment that requires little to no downtime, making it a popular option for patients looking to improve the appearance of unwanted skin lesions.

CryoPen® can be used to treat a range of benign skin concerns, including:
-
Skin tags
-
Seborrhoeic keratoses
-
Age spots
-
Sun spots
-
Cherry angiomas (red blood spots)
-
Warts
-
Verrucae
-
Milia
-
Some benign pigmentation concerns

The extreme cold generated by CryoPen® causes the unwanted cells to freeze and break down. Over the following days and weeks, the treated lesion gradually reduces and is naturally eliminated by the body.

The number of treatments required varies depending on the type, size, and location of the lesion being treated.

Map My Mole
At Luminate Aesthetics, patient safety is our priority. Before removing certain pigmented lesions or moles, we use the Map My Mole™ service to help assess whether a lesion appears benign and suitable for removal.

Map My Mole™ is a professional mole screening service that allows high-quality dermoscopic images of a lesion to be reviewed by a consultant dermatologist. This provides an additional level of reassurance and helps identify lesions that may require further medical investigation.
During your appointment, specialised images of the mole or pigmented lesion are taken using a dermatoscope. These images are securely submitted to consultant dermatologists for review.
A report is then returned advising whether the lesion appears benign or whether further assessment through your GP or dermatology services is recommended.
Not all skin lesions are suitable for cosmetic removal. Some lesions may require medical investigation to ensure patient safety.
By screening appropriate lesions before treatment, we can help ensure that anything suspicious is identified and referred appropriately rather than removed cosmetically.
