What are skin boosters?
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve skin quality, hydration, and radiance from within. Unlike dermal fillers, skin boosters are not intended to add volume or alter facial shape. Instead, they focus on enhancing the overall health and appearance of the skin, leaving it smoother, fresher, and more hydrated.
What do we offer?
At Luminate Aesthetics, we offer two advanced skin booster treatments: Hydromax and Skinvive.
Technique dependant on product, area and client preference - either micro bolus with a needle or vast area with cannula.
During your treatment?
During your appointment, Nurse Chess will assess your skin and discuss your individual concerns and treatment goals. The skin booster product is then administered through a series of small, targeted injections into the treatment area or via cannula - this can be discussed and agreed prior.
Treatment time & downtime?
Approximately 30–45 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
Downtime is generally minimal. You can generally return to normal activities the same day, although small bumps, redness, swelling or bruising may occur and typically settle within 1–3 days. It’s usually recommended to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, excessive heat and swimming for 24–48 hours.
